Weather Forecast During 2-3 Oct, high pressure area will cover southern China, and the monsoon trough will lie across the Central, the East and the lower Northeast. Abundant rains, as well as isolated heavy rain, are expected over upper Thailand. The weak southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South, and the Gulf of Thailand with less rain in the South. During 4-8 Oct, the monsoon trough will shift across the North, the upper Central and the Northeast, and the stronger southwest monsoon will prevail over the Andaman Sea, the South, and the Gulf of Thailand. Increasing rain with isolated heavy rain is expected over Thailand. The strong wind wave about 2 meters high is expected in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand.
Tropical storm “MUJIGAE” over the west of Philippines. It will move pass Hainan Island and make landfall over northern Vietnam during 4-5 Oct.
Warning During 4-6 Oct, people in the North, the East, the Northeast and the South should beware of heavy and accumulated rain. All ships in the Andaman and the upper Gulf of Thailand Sea should proceed with caution.
