General Situation The intense high pressure from over China will extend to upper Thailand during 25-29 Nov. Outbreaks of rain are likely, and then cooler weather follows by 6-8 C decrease with strong wind. People in the upper Thailand should keep healthy due to the changeable weather conditions.
During 26-29 Nov, the strong northeast monsoon will prevail over the Gulf and the South of Thailand. Abundant rain, as well as heavy to very heavy rain is expected over the South. People in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat should beware of severe weather conditions and possible flash flood. The strong wind waves 2-4 meters high are expected in the Gulf of Thailand. People living along the seashore beware of inshore wave and all ships in the Gulf should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore during the period.
