During 4-5 December, the westerly trough from Myanmar moves across the North of Thailand, and another moderate high pressure from China covers the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea. Outbreaks of rain are expected over the upper country, as well as isolated heavy thundershowers, hail and possible gust in the North. The affected areas are shown periodically:

  • During 4 December, the North following with cooler weather by 3-5 C decreases.
  • During 4-5 December, the Northeast and the Central following with cooler weather by 2-4 C decreases.

People in above areas should beware of the severe weather and keep healthy due to the changeable weather conditions.

Central Part Cloudy with scattered thundershowers

mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Chai Nat, Lop Buri and Saraburi.

Eastern Part Cloudy with widely scattered thundershowers

mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters offshore.

Southern Part (East Coast) Cloudy with scattered thundershowers

mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon and Surat Thani.

Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters in thundershower areas.

Southern Part (West Coast) Cloudy with widely scattered thundershowers

mostly in Ranong, Phangnga and Phuket.
