General Situation The strong high pressure from China covers the Northeast of Thailand. The persistent of cold spell over the upper country will likely last by 19 December. Outbreaks of rain will come before cool to cold spell following with 4-6 ?C drops in the Northeast and 2-4 ?C elsewhere. People should keep warm and healthy.

The northeast monsoon across the Gulf and the South of Thailand will intensify with wind waves 2-4 meters high in the lower Gulf from Surat Thani downward. People should beware of inshore surf. All ships in the Gulf should proceed with caution while small boats keep ashore during 16-19 December.

Typhoon “Melor” over the lower South China Sea will become weak. All passengers should check the weather update before their departure.
