The strong northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf and the South. Widely scattered rain is likely in the area and strong wind waves 2-4 meters high in the Gulf of Thailand. During 20-23 Dec, the high pressure over the upper country will weaken. Slight rising temperature with fog in the morning and isolated thick patches. An active low pressure cell covers the lower South leading to the stronger northeast monsoon across the Gulf and the South. More rain and isolated heavy rain are expected with the strong wind waves 2-4 meters high in the Gulf of Thailand.
