Cool to cold weather with strong wind is likely over upper Thailand, and frost will occur in some place on the mountaintop of the North. The northeast monsoon across the Gulf and the South of Thailand is intensifying with wind waves 2-4 meters high in the Gulf of Thailand.
During 21-24 Dec, the high pressure over the upper country will weaken. Rising in temperature is expected over upper Thailand with fog in the morning and isolated thick patches. The northeast monsoon over upper Thailand will weaken while active low pressure cell will move from the lower Gulf to the South. More rain and isolated heavy to very rain are expected over the South.
