General Situation
The active low over the South China Sea over the lower Gulf of Thailand and Indochina is expected today to cover the lower South. More rain, with isolated heavy to very heavy rain, is possible, especially in provinces of Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat and Ranong. People in the areas should beware of the severe condition and possible flash flood. The strong wind waves are likely 2-4 meters high in the Gulf. All ships in the Gulf should proceed with caution and beware of inshore surf while small boats keep ashore in a few days.
The strong high pressure begins weak with rising temperature expected over upper the country. Morning cool spell remains over the North, the Northeast and the upper Central.
