Weather Forecast During 7-8 Jan, The moderate high pressure areas from China extend to Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea. This causes cool to cold weather still over the upper Thailand with fog in the morning. The moderate northeast monsoon prevails across the lower Gulf of Thailand with wave 1-2 meters high in the Gulf from Surat Thani downward.
During 9-13 Jan, the westerly wind in the upper level will prevail over the North and the upper Northeast. Cooler weather with slight drop in temperature is expected over the area during the period.
Warning During 9-12 Jan People in the upper Thailand should keep warm and healthy, and vehicle drivers should proceed with caution due to poor visibility.
