General Situation The weak high pressure covers upper Thailand with rising temperature, but cool spell remains. The southerly winds and the southeasterly winds bring the humidity from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand to the lower Northeast, the Central, the East and the South with outbreaks of rain spell possible.
During 23-26 January, another intense high pressure from China will cover the upper country. Thundershowers, as well as strong wind, will be likely first following with 6-10 C decrease. The northeast monsoon across the South and the Gulf will intensify with more rain expected and high sea likely 2-3 meters high in the Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore.
