Weather Forecast During 22-25 Jan, the intense strong high pressure will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea, and the westerly trough will move from Myanmar to the North and the Northeast of Thailand. Outbreaks of rain and cooler weather with strong wind are expected over upper Thailand. Temperature will drop 6-10 C. The strong northeast monsoon will prevail over the Gulf and the South of Thailand. Isolated heavy rain is expected over the area with 2-3 meters of high wave in the Gulf.
On 28 Jan, this high pressure covering Thailand will weaken and the westerly trough moves to Laos and upper Vietnam. Decreasing rain and slightly rise temperature is expected over Thailand but cooler weather remains. The northeast monsoon over the Gulf and the South of Thailand will weaken. The weakening wind wave is expected in the Gulf.
Warning People in the upper Thailand should keep warm and healthy, people in the South living near the costal area should beware of high wave inshore and all small boats in the Gulf of Thailand keep ashore.
