General Situation The moderate high pressure from China covers upper cover the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea. It is expected to cover the North, the Central and the East of Thailand today (16 February 2016). Cold spell and strong winds are expected with 2-4 C drops in the Northeast of Thailand.
The northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South of Thailand will strengthen. The strong wind wave 2-3 meters is likely from Surat Thani downward. All people should beware of inshore surf. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore during 16-19 February 2016.
