General Situation The rather strong high pressure from China covers Laos, Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea. It is expected to reach upper Thailand during 24-27 February. Cold spells by 4-8 C drops, as well as strong winds, are possible in the Northeast. Isolated thundershower is likely in the North, the Central and the East then 3-6 C drops. People should keep warm and healthy due to the changeable weather. The northeast monsoon across the Gulf and the South of Thailand is forecast to strengthen with wind waves 2-3 meters in the lower Gulf from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore.
