The strong high pressure from China extends to Thailand and the South China Sea. It is expected to reach the country until 28 February. Cool to cold spells and strong wind are likely in the upper country by 1-3 C drops in the North and 1-2 C drops in the Northeast, the Central and the East. People should keep warm and healthy due to the changeable weather.
The northeast monsoon across the Gulf and the South of Thailand is intensifying with wind waves 2-4 meters in the Gulf. All people should beware of inshore surf. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore during 26-28 February.
