General Situation During 16-17 May, the high pressure area from China covers the eastern North, the Northeast and the south China Sea. The confluence of the southerly winds and southeasterly winds prevail the Northeast, the East and the Central.
Hot spells are across the upper country while the risk of very hot spells, thunderstorms with gust is possible in some places of Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Pyayao, Nan, Phrae, Lamphun, Lampang, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok, Tak, Phetchabun, Loei, Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Khon haen, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Surin, Buri Ram, Si Sa Ket, Amnat Charoen, Ubon Ratchathani, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. People should beware of the severe weather conditions and keep off unsecured buildings.
During 19-22 May, The active low pressure cell over the lower of the Bay of Bengal is expected to the cyclone and tends to move toward to the eastern portion of the India peninsula. It is no effect on Thailand in this period.

Northeastern Part Hot with haze during the day. Scattered thunderstorms with gusty winds
mostly in Loei, Udon Thani, Nong Kai, Bueng Kan, Khon haen, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima,
Surin, Buri Ram, Si Sa Ket, Amnat Charoen and Ubon Ratchathani.

Southeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
Central Part Hot with haze during the day. Scattered thunderstorms with gusty winds
mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Chai Nat, Lop Buri, Kanchanaburi, Suphan Buri and Ratchaburi.
