General Situation The strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, the South, and the Gulf of Thailand.

Outbreaks of thundershowers with isolated heavy to very heavy rain are likely in the East and the South. People should beware of the severe condition and possible flash flood. Provinces include Chanthaburi, Trat, Chumphon, Surat Thani,

Nakhon Si Thammarat, Ranong, Phangnga Phuket, Krabi and Trang.

The strong wind waves are likely 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore during 25-27 May.

Northern Part Very cloudy with scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

mainly in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Nan, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok, Phetchabun,

Kamphaengphet and Tak.

Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-38 C

Southwesterly winds 10-30 km/hr.

Northeastern Part Cloudy with scattered thundershowers

mostly in Loei, Nong Bua Lam Phu, Udon Thani, Nong Kai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon,

Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Amnat Charoen, Yasothon, Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani.

Minimum temperature 25-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-36 C.

Southwesterly winds 10-30 km/hr.

Central Part Cloudy with scattered thundershowers

mainly in Ratchaburi, Kanchanaburi, Uthai Thani and Nakhonsawan.

Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 36-38 C.

Southwesterly winds 10-30 km/hr.

Eastern Part Cloudy with scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

mostly in Chanthaburi and Trat.

Minimum temperature 25-28 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C.

Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and

above 2 meters in thundershower areas.

Southern Part (East Coast) Cloudy. Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

mainly in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat and Phatthalung.

Minimum temperature 24-28 C. Maximum temperature 30-36 C.

Surat Thani upward : Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr.

Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters offshore.

Nakhon Si Thammarat downward : Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr.

Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters offshore.

Southern Part (West Coast) Very cloudy. Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rain

mainly in Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi and Trang.

Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 26-33 C.

Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr.

Wave height about 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershower areas.

Metropolitan Cloudy with scattered thundershowers in afternoon to evening.

Minimum temperature 28-29 C. Maximum temperature 35-38 C.
