General Situation The weak southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand cause less rain in the South. The low pressure cell covers the upper Vietnam. Outbreaks of continuous rain remain over the upper country, as well as isolated heavy rain in the North and the East with very heavy rain in the Northeast. The provinces include Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Amnat Charoen, Yasothon, Roi Et, Surin, Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani. All people in these areas should beware flash flood as well. The Southern part is less rain. There remains rain in Bangkok and its vicinity.

Northern Part Very cloudy and fairly widespread thundershowers with isolated heavy rain
mainly in Chiang Rai, Phayao, Phrae, Nan, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun.

Northeastern Part Very cloudy and fairly widespread thundershowers with isolated heavy to very heavy rain
mainly in Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Amnat Charoen, Yasothon, Roi Et, Surin,
Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani.
Minimum temperature 23- 25 C. Maximum temperature 28-33 C.

Central Part Very cloudy and scattered thundershowers
mostly in Ratchaburi, Kanchanaburi, Uthai Thani, Nakhon Sawan, Chai Nat,
Lop Buri, Saraburi and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya.

Eastern Part Very cloudy and scattered thundershowers with isolated heavy rain
mainly in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters in thundershower areas.
Southern Part (East Coast) Cloudy with isolated thundershowers
mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon and Surat Thani.
Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 34-36 C.

Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters in thundershower areas.
Southern Part (West Coast) Cloudy with isolated thundershowers mostly in Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket and Krabi.

Phuket northward: Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershower areas.
Krabi southward: Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Metropolitan Very cloudy with fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain.
