General Situation The low pressure cell covers the upper North and Myanmar. The strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand cause more rain with isolated heavy to heavy rain over in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Lumphun, Lumpang, Kamphaeng Phet, Tak, Kanchanaburi, Chanthaburi, Trat, Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi and Trang. All people in these areas should beware flash flood as well. There remains rain with isolated heavy rain in Bangkok and its vicinity.
The strong wind wave in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand is likely 2-3 meters height. All ship should proceed with caution and small boats in the Andaman Sea and upper Gulf keep ashore.
TYPHOON “NEPARTAK” over the Pacific is moving pass Taiwan and Fujian of China during 8-9 July. All travelers should stay tuned for the weather update.

Southern Part (East Coast) Cloudy with scattered thundershowers with isolated heavy rain mainly in Chumphon,
Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat.

Surat Thani upward: Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr.

Southern Part (West Coast) Very cloudy with fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain
mostly in Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi and Trang.
