Weather Forecast During 2-6 Aug, the southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen. More rain is likely over Thailand with isolated heavy to very heavy rain in the East and the South. The strong wind wave in the Andaman Sea is likely 2-3 meters height. During 7-8 Aug, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Rain remains with isolated heavy rain is likely in the East and the South.
Tropical storm “NIDA” make landfall over Hong Kong, China has downgraded from Typhoon “NIDA”. It is expected downgraded to tropical depression and low pressure cell.
Warning During 2-7 Aug, people in the East and the South should proceed with caution severe weather. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore.
