Weather Forecast During 9-10 Aug, The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. The lower Central, the East and the South have continual rain and isolated heavy rain. The wind waves in the Andaman Sea are likely about 2 meters height.
During 11-15 Aug, the low pressure cell over the Bay of Tonkin tends to move to upper Laos, as well as the possible strengthening southwest monsoon. Increasing rain is likely over Thailand including heavy rain. Outbreak of very heavy rain is expected the East and the South (west coast). The wind waves 2-3 meters high are in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf.
