These cause, the East and the South still rain and isolated heavy rain in Chanthaburi, Trat, Ranong and Phangnga. People should beware of the severe conditions while there high probability thundershowers, as well as isolated heavy rain, over Bangkok and its vicinity in the afternoon to evening. The wind waves in the Andaman Sea are likely about 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution.
During 12-16 Aug, 2016, the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. More rain is likely in Thailand and heavy to very heavy rain in some areas in the East to the South (west coast). Wind and wave in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand will intensify with. The waves 2-4 meters high, all ships should proceed with caution in the area. And small boats should keep ashore during this period as well.
