Weather Forecast The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand caused the strong wind waves 2-4 meters high in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand throughout the period.
During 18-20 Aug, the tropical depression over the upper South China Sea is expected to move across upper Vietnam, and Laos caused more rain over Thailand, with isolated heavy to very heavy rain at the North and the upper Northeast after that less rain over upper Thailand during 21-22 Aug.
During 23-24 Aug, the active low pressure cell over the upper South China Sea will move across upper Vietnam, and Laos caused more rain over Thailand, with isolated heavy to very heavy rain at the North, the upper Northeast, the East and the South.
Warning During 18-20, 23-24 Aug, people at the North, the upper Northeast should beware of severe conditions. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore throughout the period.
Northern Part During 18-20, 23-24 Aug, scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rain especially during 19-20 Aug.
During 21-22 Aug, scattered thundershowers.
