General Situation The monsoon trough move up lies across the upper North of Thailand, Laos and upper Vietnam. The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Outbreaks of rain are forecast with isolated heavy rain in the upper Thailand excepted the South East Coast provinces include Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phayao, Phrae, Nan, Kamphangphet, Tak, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Uthai Thani, Chanthaburi, Trat, Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket and Krabi. People should beware the severe condition until today while isolated heavy rain affects Bangkok and its vicinity in afternoon to evening. The wind waves is likely about 2 meters in the Andaman Sea, all ships should be procedure with caution.
