General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the lower North, the Central and the Lower Northeast of Thailand. The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Rain remains over Thailand as well as isolated heavy rain including province: Phayao, Phrae, Nan, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Nong Khai, Khon Kaen, Loei, Maha Sarakham, Uthai Thani, Suphan Buri, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Prachin Buri, Chanthaburi and Trat. Bangkok and its vicinity have a risk of thundershowers with isolated heavy rain in afternoon to evening.
The stronger wind waves are likely 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats should keep ashore throughout period.
