General Situation The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand while the ridge of high pressure extended to cover the upper North and the upper Northeast effect to the monsoon trough is stronger. This trough is move down to lies across the Central, the East and the lower Northeast of Thailand. This cause is abundance rain in these areas and heavy rain in many areas and very heavy rain in some place including province: Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram, Surin, Si Sa Ket, Ubon Ratchathani, Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Ratchaburi, Samut Songkhram, Suphan Buri, Kanchanaburi, Uthai Thani, Chai Nat, Nakhon Sawan, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Nakhon Pathom, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat, Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Ranong and Phangnga. All people in these areas should beware accumulates rain and heavy rain in this period. Bangkok and its vicinity have a risk of thundershowers with isolated heavy rain in afternoon to evening.
The stronger wind waves are likely 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats should keep ashore throughout period.
