General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the North, the upper Central and the Northeast caused more rain in the areas, as well as isolated heavy rain. Bangkok and its vicinity have still risk of isolated thundershowers in afternoon to evening. All people should beware of the severe conditions. The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand cause wind waves about 2 meters high in the Andaman Sea. All ships should proceed with caution.
Typhoon “MEGI” located at Pacific Ocean and move West. During 26-28 September, it is forecast to be near the Philippines and Taiwan. This storm does not affect Thailand weather.
