General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the Central, the East and the lower Northeast caused isolated heavy rain in Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat, Ranong and Phangnga. Bangkok and its vicinity have more rain than yesterday. All people should beware of the severe conditions. The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand cause wind waves about 2 meters high in the Andaman Sea. All ships should proceed with caution.
Typhoon “MEGI” in the Taiwan move to Taiwan Strait. Expected, it will move to Fujian, China on today. This storm has no effect on Thailand. Traveler should stay tuned for the weather update.
