General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the lower North, the Central and the Northeast, and the southwest monsoon remains across the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Outbreaks of persistent rain are likely over the upper country, as well as isolated heavy thundershowers except for the South east coast. Bangkok and its vicinity have risks of isolated heavy rain in afternoon to evening. All people should beware of accumulated rainfall. During 8-9 October, it is expected to decreasing rain in the upper North and upper Northeast.
Tropical storm “AERE” in the northwest of the Philippines is moving to upper South China Sea and it is expected move to near the east coast of China during 8-10 October. All people will travel to Hong Kong, Macao and Hainan Island should stay tuned for the weather update. This storm will not affect Thailand by few days.
