General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the Central and the East while the southwest monsoon remains across the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Outbreaks of torrential rain with heavy in some parts are still likely over the lower North, the Central, the East and the South west coast while a decrease in rain is forecast for the North and the upper Northeast. Bangkok and its vicinity regain isolated heavy rain.
Tropical storm “AERE” was due 390 km east of Hong Kong, moving east slowly. It trends to coast down southern China with no effect on Thailand during 10-11 October. All travellers should stay tuned for the weather update.
