General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the Central, the East and the lower Northeast to the depression over upper Vietnam while the southwest monsoon still prevails across the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. The eastern sides of both the North and Northeast will have more rain whereas outbreaks of continuous rain with heavy are likely over the Central, the East and the lower Northeast. Bangkok and its vicinity have more rain with heavy in some parts.
At 4.00 a.m. the depression made land fall over upper Danang, Vietnam, or latitude 16.5 N longitude 108.0 E. Moving west slowly, it is forecast to settle and further dissipate. During 14-15 October, widespread rain affects eastern side of Northeast provinces: Nakhon Phanom, Sakon Nakhon, Mukdahan, Amnat Charoen and Ubon Ratchathani, then the central Northeast, the East and the Central.
