General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the lower Central, the upper South and the East while the southeast monsoon still prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Rain is still likely over upper Thailand with heavy in some parts of the East and the South. Bangkok and its vicinity have outbreaks of thundershowers with heavy rain. All people should beware of accumulated rainfall.
At 4.00 a.m. (17 October), Tropical Strom “SARIKA” over the upper South China Sea was forecast to head to Tonkin Bay and Hainan during 18-19 October. All travelers should stay tuned for the weather update.
