General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the low Central, the upper South and the East while the southeast monsoon still prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Rain is still likely over the South west coast with isolated heavy to very heavy rain include provices: Ranong, Phangnga and Phuket. All people should beware of accumulated rainfall. Afternoon to evening rain affects Bangkok and its vicinity.
At 04.00 a.m. on 19 October, Tropical storm “SARIKA” over Bay of Tonkin was due 350 km. Southeast of Hanoi, Vietnam. This storm will move to upper Vietnam near Hanoi today and downgrade to tropical depression and low pressure cell in order. This storms no effect on Thailand. Travelers should stay tuned for the weather update.
