Weather Forecast During 19-21 Oct, the monsoon trough lies across the lower Central, the upper South and the East. Rain remain is likely the lower Central, the East and the South and less rain in the North and the Northeast During 22-25 Oct, monsoon trough shift lies across the lower North, the upper Central, the East and the Northeast cause more rain in upper Thailand. During 19-24 Oct, the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand is stronger. The strong wind waves are expected in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand 2-3 meters high.
Tropical Storm SARIKA has downgraded to tropical storm in the Bay of Tonkin. This storm is forecast to move near Hanoi around upper Vietnam today. It will then decline to tropical depression and low pressure, respectively.
Typhoon HAIMA over east of the Philippines trends to pass the country and move through the upper South China Sea on 20 October. It is expected to make landfall over southern China and Hong Kong during 21-22 October. This tropical no effect on Thailand. Travelers should stay tuned for the weather update.
