General Situation The active low pressure remains cover Sumatra’s head, and the active northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf and the South of Thailand. Meanwhile, the high pressure is extending it ridge cover upper Thailand.
Cool to cold spells dominate upper Thailand while Bangkok and its vicinity gets cool spell and windy days. Outbreaks of torrential rainfall are expected much of southern provinces: Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket and Krabi. People should beware of severe condition and possible flash flood. The strong winds lead to waves 2-3 meters high in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore one a day. People along the Gulf should beware of inshore surge.
