General Situation The tropical depression covers western Nicobar, and the moderate northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf and Thailand. Meanwhile, the high pressure system stays over the upper country.
Outbreaks of persistent cool to cold spells remain in upper Thailand while Bangkok and its vicinity get cool spell in the morning. Some heavy rain remains in provinces: Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, and Surat Thani in spite of a reduction of rainfall. Still beware of the severe conditions. The strong winds lead to waves about 2 meters high in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea. All ships should proceed with caution.
