General Situation During 15-18 December, another high pressure over the upper Northeast of Thailand. The northeast monsoon across the Gulf and Thailand will gain strength. Outbreaks of persistent cool to cold spells by decreasing of 1-2 C in the Northeast, as well as patchy of fog in the morning, remain in the upper country while Bangkok and its vicinity stays cool and mist in the morning. All transport should proceed with caution in areas of patchy fog. Rain spells will be likely in the South. The strong wind waves are expected 2-3 meters high in the Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore during this period.

During 15-16 December, The active low over coastal of lower Vietnams moves to the Gulf and the lower South and possibly loses its strength. Isolated rain will be likely in the lower Northeast, the East, Bangkok and its vicinity, the lower Central and the South.

Southern Part (West Coast) Partly cloudy with isolated thundershowers mainly in Ranong, Phangnga and Phuket.
