General Situation During 15-18 December, another high pressure over the Northeast, the East and the Central of Thailand is expected to cover the North, respectively, and the northeast monsoon across the country will gain strength. During 15-16 December, the low pressure over the Gulf and the South will move to the Andaman Sea.
Outbreaks of persistent cool to cold spells by decreasing of 4-6 ?C occur in the Northeast, then the rest while Bangkok and its vicinity stays cool and mist in the morning, as well as some light rain expected. Outbreaks of rain spells will be likely in the South with heavy rain in some parts. The winds gets stronger forcing waves expected 2-3 meters high in the Gulf from Surat Thani passing south. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore.
