General Situation Another strong high pressure from China extends to Laos and the Northeast of Thailand. It is expected to cover the East and the Central by today (27 December 2016). Outbreaks of cold spells, as well as windy days, are likely with a decrease by 5-7 C. People in the upper Thailand should take care of your health and keep warm due to the change of weather conditions.
The strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South. More rain with some heavy will be expected in the lower South. The strong winds lead to high waves up to 2-3 meters in the Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore during 28-31 December 2016.
Typhoon “NOCK-TEN” over the upper South China Sea and will downgrade to low pressure cell by 27 Dec 2016. This storm is not affect to weather of Thailand.
