General Situation The rather strong high pressure still covers Thailand and the South China Sea. Outbreaks of cool to cold spells will be likely in the North and the Northeast.
The strong northeast monsoon still prevails across the Gulf with outbreaks of heavy to torrential rains in following provinces: Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. People should beware of severe conditions and possible flash flood. Areas prone to landslide are still cautious, and people follow closely the weather update.
The strong winds strengthen and force waves up to 2-3 meters high from the lower Gulf passing south. People along the Gulf should beware of inshore surges. All ships proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore.
