General Situation The high pressure over the upper country begins weak while at high altitude of this area the westerly winds still affects below cool spells with a decrease by 1-3 ?C in the North. The strong northeast monsoon still prevails across the Gulf with outbreaks of persistent rainfall in the lower South.
The strong winds strengthen in the Gulf, and its lower portion from Nakhon Si Thammarat passing south gains waves up to 2-3 meters high. People should beware of inshore surges. All ships proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore.
