General Situation The low pressure covers Malaysia and the lower South of Thailand. It is expected move to the South during 4-6 April while the strong easterly wind prevails over the Gulf of Thailand. Heavy rain occurs much of the South with very heavy in some places. People in the South should beware of possible flash flood.

The moderate wind waves are likely about 2 meters high in the Gulf of Thailand and above 2 meters in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution.

Northern Part Cloudy, isolated thundershowers with gusty winds

mostly in Chiang Mai, Lampang, Lamphun, Tak and Kamphaeng Phet.

Northeastern Part Partly cloudy. Isolated light rain mostly in the lower portion.

Central Part Partly cloudy. Hot during the days and isolated thundershowers

mostly in Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi.

Eastern Part Cloudy and isolated thundershowers with gusty winds

mostly in Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Minimum temperature 22-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C.

Southeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters.

Southern Part (East Coast) Very cloudy. Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rain

mostly in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.

Minimum temperature 21-25 C. Maximum temperature 26-33 C.

Chumphon northwards: Southeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr.

Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershower areas.

Surat Thani southwards: Easterly winds 20-35 km/hr.

Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershower areas.

Southern Part (West Coast) Very cloudy and fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

mostly in Phang-nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Stun.

Minimum temperature 21-23 C. Maximum temperature 28-32 C.

Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Wave height about 1 meter.

Metropolitan Cloudy and isolated thundershowers.

Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-34 C.

Southeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
