General Situation The low pressure cell covers the middle Bay of Bengal. The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and Thailand. More rain and isolated heavy rain is expected in the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South including Bangkok and its vicinity until 9 June. People in the areas should beware of flash flood from heavy rain.
The strong wind waves are likely in the Andaman Sea and upper Gulf of Thailand as well as 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore.
