General Situation The low pressure covers the upper parts of Bengal Bay, and the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea. More rain is forecast with heavy rain, as well as torrential downpour, in the East and the western South in Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat, Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket and Krabi lasting for the period of 9 June. People in lowlands and foothills should beware of flash flood.

The strong wind waves are likely in the Andaman Sea and upper Gulf with waves 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore.
