Weather Forecast During 16-17 June, the low pressure cell covers the south of China with the weak southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and Thailand. Less rains are likely over the country. During 18-22 June, the southwest monsoon will strengthen while the low pressure moves to cover the Gulf of Tonkin and upper Vietnam. More rain is expected over the country with isolated heavy rain in the North, the Northeast and the southern west coast. The wind waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf will be forecast about 2 meters high.
Warning People should beware of flooding conditions. All ships in the upper Andaman and the upper Gulf should proceed with caution.
