Weather Forecast on 17 Jul, tropical cyclone “Talas” over upper Laos. It is forecast become tropical depression and low-pressure cell respectively while moving toward the North. During 18-19 Jul, the monsoon through lies across the upper North and the upper Northeast while the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and Thailand. Abundant rain with isolated heavy to very heavy rains are expected over the country. The strong wind waves in the Andaman Sea and upper the Gulf of Thailand are 2-3 meters high.

Isolated heavy rains are expected over the North, the Northeast, the East and the Southwest coast. The moderate wind waves in the Andaman Sea are about 2 meters high.

During 17-19 Jul, people in the North, the Northeast, the East, the Central and the South (west coast) should beware of heavy to very heavy rainfall. All ships in the Andaman Sea and upper the Gulf of Thailand should proceed and small boats in the Andaman Sea keep ashore.
