General Situation The rather strong southwest monsoon across the South west coast and the Andaman leads to more rain with isolate heavy downpour in the south west coast while the Andaman Sea gets strong wind waves 2-3 meters high. Southern people (west coast) beware of accumulated rainfall in a few days. All ships in this area should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore.
Typhoon “NORU” over the Pacific Ocean is expected to move toward Japan during 4-7 August 2017. Travelers should stay tuned.
