Weather Forecast During 18-20 Aug, the monsoon trough lies across the North and the Northeast with the strengthened southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf. Abundant rain with isolated heavy rain are likely in many areas of the country. The wind waves in the Andaman Sea are expected 2-3 meters.
During 21-24 Aug, the southwest monsoon and the monsoon trough weakened over the Andaman Sea and Thailand. Less rain is likely over Thailand while the East, the South, and Bangkok Metropolitan Region remains isolated heavy rain. The wind waves in the Andaman Sea are expected 1-2 meters.
Warning During 18-20 Aug, People in the upper North, the Central, the East and the South should beware of severe weather conditions. All ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution, and small boats in the Andaman Sea should keep ashore during 18 – 19 August.

During 21-24 Aug, scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain mostly in the western part.
