During 27-29 Aug, the monsoon trough lies across the lower North, the Central and the Northeast while the southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea and the South will strengthen. More rain with isolated heavy rain are likely in the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South (west coast). The wind waves in the Andaman Sea are expected about 2 meters. During 30-31 Aug, the monsoon trough lies across the North and the Northeast while the southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea and the South will weaken. Less rain is likely in Thailand. The wind waves in the Andaman Sea are expected 1-2 meters.
Tropical storm “PAKHAR” over Philippines will move pass Hainan Island, China and upper Vietnam during 27-28 Aug. All travelers should stay tuned for the weather update.
