During 1-2 Sep, the monsoon trough lies across the North and the upper Northeast while the southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea and Thailand are weaken. Less rain is likely over the country. During 3-5 Sep, the southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea and the South will strengthen. More rain is likely in the overall country with isolated heavy rain in the Central, the East, the South (west coast), Bangkok Metropolis and Vicinity. The wind waves in the Andaman Sea are expected about 2 meters.
The active low covers the Philippines will move to the upper South China Sea. It will upgrade to tropical depress and expected this storm will move to Hong Kong, China during 3-5 Sep 2017. Travelers should stay tuned.
