General Situation The monsoon trough has shifted and lied across the upper North, Laos and upper Vietnam, and the southwest monsoon across the Andaman Sea and Thailand becomes stronger. An increase in rainfall is expected, with isolated heavy downpour, for the North, the Northeast the East and the South (west coast).

Tropical storm MAWAR has made landfall over Shanwei, Chana. The storm is forecast to decline to tropical depression and low-pressure system, resctively with no direct impact on Thailand.
