Weather Forecast During 14 - 18 Sep, tropical storm DOKSURI over upper South China Sea will move through Hainan, China and make landfall over the coast of upper Vietnam. It is forecast to become a low pressure covering the upper North of Thailand. The moderate southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea and Thailand will strengthen. More rain is likely over Thailand with isolated heavy rain in the North, the Northeast, the East, and the South including Bangkok Metropolis and its vicinity. The wind waves are likely 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf.
During 18 - 19 Sep, the monsoon trough will lie across the North, the Central and the Northeast. The southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea and Thailand will weaken. A volume of rainfall is expected to decrease over the country with the weak wind waves.
Warning During 14 - 17 Sep, people in the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South should beware of severe weather conditions. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the Andaman Sea keep ashore.
